Terms & Conditions

Last updated at: July 21, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ghous Studio's subscription development services, offered at https://ghous.dev/ (the "Site"). By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't subscribe or use the services.

The short version: Flat monthly fee, unlimited backlog, one task worked on at a time (avg. ~48hr delivery) Fully async no calls, Loom videos instead. Cancel or pause anytime, no notice needed. Your code is yours from day one. Discounts run for one year, not for life. Refunds: 75% within the first week, none after.

1. Service Description

Ghous Studio provides unlimited web, mobile, desktop, and AI development work for a flat monthly subscription fee. Work is organized through a Trello board, where you can add an unlimited backlog of tasks. We work on one task at a time, with an average delivery time of approximately 48 hours per task. This average is a general expectation, not a guarantee some tasks are quicker, more complex tasks may take longer.

2. Communication Fully Async

Ghous Studio operates on a fully asynchronous basis. We do not offer live calls or meetings. If clarification is needed on a task, we communicate via:

  • Loom video walkthroughs, shared directly on the relevant Trello card/board
  • Written messages via Trello and Discord

This structure allows us to focus on shipping work rather than scheduling and attending meetings, and helps keep delivery times fast and predictable.

3. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly at a flat fee, processed via Lemon Squeezy.
  • You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time, with no notice period, penalty, or cap. There are no long-term contracts or lock-in periods.
  • Pausing stops billing and work until you choose to resume.

4. Promotional Discounts

Any discount applied to your subscription (e.g., a promotional or introductory rate) is valid for one year from the date it's applied. It is not a lifetime discount. After the one-year period:

  • Your subscription will revert to the standard, non-discounted price, or
  • You may become eligible to reapply for the same or a comparable discount for another one-year term, at Ghous Studio's discretion, if the offer is still available.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the high-quality, hands-on nature of the work, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Refund requests made within the first week of a subscription are eligible for a 75% refund.
  • No refunds are issued for requests made after the first week of service.
  • No refunds are issued for work that has already been completed and delivered, regardless of when the request is made.

6. Project Ownership & Code Delivery

For each project, a GitHub repository is created with you as the owner from day one, with Ghous Studio added only as a contributor. This means all code and project history belong to you from the very start of the engagement not just upon completion or final payment.

7. Restricted Project Types

Ghous Studio does not accept or work on projects, products, or features that conflict with our ethical guidelines. This includes, without limitation, projects centered on or substantially involving:

  • Interest-based lending, predatory financial products, or high-risk speculative finance
  • Gambling, betting, or games of chance
  • Alcohol or intoxicant sales/marketing platforms
  • Adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit content
  • Dating, matchmaking, or platforms designed primarily to facilitate casual or exploitative relationships
  • Any other product, service, or feature that conflicts with our values as a business

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Ghous Studio reserves the right to decline any project, task, or feature request at its sole discretion if it falls within this category, at any stage of the engagement.

8. Fair Use

"Unlimited" refers to the number of tasks you may add to your backlog, not simultaneous or parallel delivery. Work is completed one task at a time. We ask that task requests be reasonable in scope and submitted in good faith. Ghous Studio reserves the right to flag, split, or discuss scope with you if a single request is unusually large or effectively equivalent to multiple projects.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • Providing clear task descriptions, assets, and access needed to complete work (via Trello)
  • Responding to clarifying questions or Loom videos in a reasonably timely manner, since delays on your end may affect delivery timelines
  • Ensuring you have the rights to any content, brand assets, or materials you ask us to work with

10. Limitation of Liability

Ghous Studio provides services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for high-quality, reliable delivery, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount paid by you in the month the claim arose.
